Is it appropriate for your needs?
There are many tools and services emerging and available but it’s important to know what part of your business would benefit from automation and AI input. Adding a new tool, or system can streamline your workflow efficiently if implemented correctly.
Is it cost effective?
Many of the new tools are one trick ponies that charge highly without offering a comprehensive solution. This leads to businesses paying for multiple services to try and patch together a suitable package, or investing heavily in a bespoke custom system. Neither of which are cost effective for small companies.
Is it secure?
LLM’s like OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini use ‘model training’ on free or personal versions. This allows the service to remain cheap or free and they benefit from their AI using your chats and documents to train future models. This isn’t secure for business use, but they do offer business versions.
Is it FCA Compliant?
If a tool uses model training as explained above, it is NOT compliant. HOW and WHAT you use makes a big difference. For example some versions of Google Gemini are fully FCA, ICO and GDPR compliant with complete ISO and SOC certification - meaning you can upload and analyse clients documents and more!
